Work experience
The Queensland Government understands that we all need to start somewhere. So, where possible, we provide work experience opportunities to students who want to learn a little more about their chosen job or career.
Work experience opportunities are generally provided to students from Queensland secondary schools and organised through the school careers advisor. They are a form of unpaid employment that allows a student to experience the hands-on components of a given job.
To see if you're eligible, speak to your school's Careers Advisor or follow one of the Queensland Government departments' links below for more information.
